So far it's been an interesting and trying day. I'm keeping my 8 month old grandson for the night :) I love him so much but wow, he takes what little I have right out of me. This is only the 2nd time I'm keeping him. My daughter rarely asks because she knows how icky I always feel. I hate it and this is I think the worse part of always being "sick". It's 6pm and I'm ready for bed LOL Good thing he sleeps through the night  ;)

Oh Angielyn, that sounds so neat!  A little bit of bonding with the grandson!  Too cool! :)

Jan and I sit the kids together. That way I get to see them and do what I can with them. If it is too much for me she takes over.

Well, it was a very interesting night. My daughter forgot to bring his medicine, he had been having a very low fever on and off for the past few days and diarrhea, but all in all he was a normal baby with eating, playing etc.  So, they bring his ibuprofen JUST in case he'd get a little fever. Well, while they were here he got sick! Poor little guy. So they decided to take him home, just in case he'd get worse over night and they wanted to take him to the ER or something it was easier this way.

My daughters twin brother is here right now so he did help a lot with the baby and my hubby once he got home. They know I can't do it by myself :( Just lugging him around hurts lol HOW I took care of 3 kids with the ages they were is beyond me!!!!! No wonder I'm sick now :) They permanently wore me out LOL (My kids now are 22, 20 and 20 -they are almost 21)

Well, everyone, we got to babysit our "grand-puppy" tonight for a few hours.  That's the best we have.  Our daughter came over for supper with her pup and ask if we'd keep the dog while she went to a friend's house to watch football.  We said sure.  Boy the house was a mess and it's a constant thing to watch for accidents because she's not all the way trained and being here is a strange place.  Gramps and the dog are one big riot. lol  I hope you guys get a kick out of this story.  We love this little dog and she is so funny and we are in a way having input to her "training."  Lucy
