Yeah it does Liz.  I don't know which is more painful:  the Sjogren's or losing friends and family.

I'm sure it's losing family. I have the one daughter, son-in-law, and their three children. I would admit to all kinds of offenses without defending myself, to stay in their good graces. Then come here to say -- "really I'm a good person."
.
It's true that my daughter has one 5 year-old and twins who are 2 1/2. She works fulltime, and her husband does as well. They barely see each other as a result, and keep a good relationship going nevertheless. His father died of lung cancer last spring; his mother moved in with them while she sold her house and found a condominium, which was not nice. Then I "Came down with" Sjögren's Syndrome. I did send them "Spoon theory," and we talk about other stuff, not about illness, though.

Hugs to you, and to Valene2009, and to all the rest of the posters,

Val, you're wise to be forgiving and take a conciliatory approach. We all have grumpy days when we say things we regret. Hang in there! :)
