Hello, my name is Loulou and I over did it this weekend.

I am now enduring a Sjogren's flare up and a fibro flare up.

Eyes, fingers, mouth and lips are extremely dry and my thyroid shouts at me from time to time.

And my head and muscles wanted to join in on the fun. Headache, neck ache, leg and arm muscles hurt when touched. I feel like I did an intense strengthening work out the other day and my muscles are killing or that I recently got beat up. Lint or crumbs on my pant legs - gotta live with it or hurt if I try brushing it off. Hips hurt too, so sitting a certain way is out of the question.

So far I've taken an Aleve for the pain. It's not enough to make me go home, just annoying.

My spirits are good, I don't feel miserable like I would if it were the flu or a cold. Which my muscles would feel the same if it were a cold.

Anyone recommend anything for a fibro pain flare up besides heat and ibuprofen? Sjogie's flare up besides slathering on lotion and chapstick (just applied a coat of each) and lots of water?

Jorja

I'm sorry you are feeling so bad today.  The aches and pains coupled with the dryness are something only another SJS/Fibro sufferer can understand.  Here's hoping you get some relief soon.
