What is SALIVA SURE?   Interesting and would like to hear more.

Drylady- yes! Sea buckthorn has noticably helped my dryness. Things had gotten better on the plaquenil but improved quite a bit more after adding the sea buckthorn. I got mine from whole foods, 300 mg capsules. I take 2 with lunch and 2 with dinner (plus turmeric).

Arina83-
my turmeric capsules are 500 mg. I take up to 3000mg some days because I've read that we don't absorb very much of it. I would keep this one up because there are countless studies showing it lowers inflammatory cytokines and ultimately helps damp down the haywire immune system.

And yes- stay on that dr of yours!!!! Get the plaquenil and salagen and don't take no for an answer.

SalivaSure is a xylitol lozenge which relieves dry mouth, as long as you can produce saliva from stimulation. I keep one in my mouth for a good portion of the day or whenever I get dry. They taste almost like nothing.

There is a website at Scandinavian Formulas. Google that name or saliva sure. I get them in Canada at shopper's drug mart.

Any ideas for dry lungs and throat? Humidifier isn't helping, and it's starting to drive me crazy.

Was totally exhausted today, so I couldn't call any doctors.  Thinking of calling my dentist on Monday, since my teeth have stwrtd hurting, along with the dry mouth.

Tired and need to sleep, but I'm just too uncomfortable.
