I do get B12 shots. But I'm guessing it is probably the regular B12.

Looks like Jarrow 5000 is one of the best Methyl B12. I knew of B12, but didn't know of Methyl B12. I'll order some.

Ambien was fun for me while it lasted, but my wife insisted I quit taking after she caught going out side naked, to shoot coyotes, at night in 10 degree weather. I went outside often because I saw cars, people and giant furniture in the front yard, It was all entertaining. The best part was shopping in my sleep, I managed to buy 4 nice bar stools for $100 delivered. The only scary part is I may have driven to our new house to change the sprinklers, if I did I hope put on some clothes first.

Did that happen when you first started taking it? Or later on?

This happened anytime I took ambien and neurotin, which was most of the time. I also have sleep apnea and narcolepsy which may factor in somehow, as narcoleptics drop in to rem sleep much faster and more often the other sleepers.

I rarely take it, but I love my generic ambien. All I do is sleep. I've not had a single bizarre episode.
I miss the good old days. Things were more like they used to be back then.

I can only take 5 mgm of Ambien for about 4 days and then I start to get stoned

Hi, Irish.  Ambien is not meant to be taken on a regular basis.  That's probably why you felt funny.

It's sure not for everyone.  My sister-in-law woke up in the middle of the night and took a bite of leftover pizza from the fridge and threw the rest in the garbage.  The next morning she had no recollection of it!

I don't take the ambien on a "regular basis" but I do take it abot 3-4 nites in a row to help me re-establish a sleep pattern. I only take the 5 mgm and sometimes 2.5 mgm as I so sensitive to it.

The strange thing is many people take it every night for months or more and I have no idea how they get by with it. For some people it will fail to cause sleep after a certain length of time. The drug manufacturers always warn people about taking it every night on a long time basis but I think many people do. Beats me how they can keep getting their prescriptions refilled that much. Irish ;D

All I can say is that I DO NOT SLEEP without it. So I have a choice, Ambien, or being wide awake all night... for nights on end.

I am so glad that it continues to work for you. There is nothing worse than not getting any sleep --nite after nite, after nite. I still sleep poorly and sometimes not at all. I am amazed that I get through the days this way.

Hubby will tell me to just rest and take a nap. Ya right!! I wish I could nap in the afternoon, but I seem to have lost that ability much of the time also. It is not a good way to live is it??? Irish ;D

My mother will not be happy if they take it off the market. She uses it to fall asleep, and get some relief from her severe burning legs from peripheral neuropathy.

My husband has suffered from neuropathy in his feet and legs for over 20 years. It has gotten worse over the years and been aggravated by his back surgeries, etc.

He is on the gabapentin and amitriptylene and that is what has kept him going. However, he has suffered more and more and finally when he had the broken ribs in April the doc put him on a serious pain medication. He didn't want to take it cause it was addicting. I told him he was 73 years old and deserved to sleep. He now takes the pain pill in the morning and at night.

I can't believe the difference it has made in him. Since he is getting relief from pain and more sleep he is a different person. Many times people take sleeping pills for various reasons and pain may be one of the reasons. I hope that if any of you are suffering from chronic pain you can get some help from pain meds or a good pain clinic. What I am trying to say is that a sleeping pill doesn't always solve all our problems. Sheesh, all our ailments are hard to figure out.

Remember when we were young and just got up in the morning, got dressed and went on with our life. Oh hum. Irish ;D

Oh my gosh, I love this stuff!  I took it last night for the first time and slept thru the night for the first time in years!  I have the extended release type since my problem was waking up all night. I only took a half and I don't even feel groggy this morning!  The only problem was that my sinuses are so dried out and stinging that my husband said I was snoring like a train!
