Sore throat on one side?

I've had a sore throat on mainly one side around tonsil area for over a week? I have had a light cold congestion and of course normal dry mouth at night which aggravates it all. Do any of you experience this on one side? Last night I rinsed with my dry mouth floride and some of it got in my throat I guess bc it started burning painfully something terrible on that one side.

I was just searching on burning mouth syndrome and this thread came up
I saw at another forum someone complained they had Burning Mouthy syndrome ever since a fluoride treatment at dentist
I have had F treatments before and was ok but one I had a few months ago seemed to leave me more sensitive and since then have been doing prevident too which has more fluoride and am starting to wonder if should take a break from the fluoride--did you throat get better?
