First of all I would like to thank the boards for all the love, compassion and understanding...You people are great!! I use to be here alot under a different screen name, but changed it to save the tears from my family...This is my first post in 2 1/2 years...but I have been lurking. My heart goes out to all of you because we all have one common symptom...suffering. I was born with immune issues and have battled this crap for almost 60 years. Maybe age has given me some wisdom, and I hope  that my input can put a little smile on your face or give some comfort. One thing I have to say..you must be pro-active and pay attention to your body. I came to realize that this is a family disease. My best friend (wife)and childern support me and are very pro-active in finding answers. I will post up some little stories that may be helpful..if anybody has any questions please feel free to ask. I use to think out of the box and always sought out other treatments..notice "use to"...So keep your chin up it is always better tommorow... ;D

Michael,

Welcome back!  ;)

With the length of time you've battled your disease, I'm sure you have words of wisdom you can impart.  Comforting words are always good with any of us, I think.  Doesn't matter how long or short our struggle has been.  Your stories will certainly be welcome.

I'm also looking forward to your posts.
Take care,
Melinda
