IL-17 a theraputic target?

Thought this study was interesting. Basically it showed that blocking IL-17 prevented further salivary gland destruction and also was able to restore saliva production even in late stage disease. Even more exciting is the fact that it looks like they're already working on biologics to block IL-17. Two articles linked below:

Thanks for posting this.  I only read through a bit of the link, but it is interesting. I'll read in its entirety tomorrow.  Every bit of research can only help us, in my humble opinion.
