How are you feeling after your surgery?  Now that a few days have passed I am hoping you feel alittle better.  You are on heck of a guy, I have many problems that limit me alot, but mine pale in comparison to yours.  Got to go but will keep you in my prayers.

Mr. Duffy

 Hello ,
I felt earthquake too. I am sick in bed & the bed started to shake. At first I thought it was me!
One of my sons called me & asked me if I was ok. I said I didnt feel worse than this morning,  why? He said we had an earthquake, rare in our area. Its funny because today my heart has been acting up alot & my neuropathy is really bad in my legs & feet. Even my teeth hurt more!
I hope you can feel better soon. I will keep you in my thoughts.
       take care,
            Duffy

I live in VA, about an hour from the epicenter...the whole house was shaking.  Freaked me out.

I'm having an unusually bad pain day and haven't done much to cause it.  Wonder if the body responds to these types of disturbances like joints respond to barometer changes?

EARTHQUAKE!

Yes, but I thought at first it was something my husband must be doing in the cellar!  I knew it was coming from below me.

Then, I couldn't hear any major tool running, and besides this was beyond his usual antics.

I've been through two very very minor earthquakes in Massachusetts when we lived there, so I figured it had to be that.

No damage of course, and my husband was OUTSIDE and didn't notice it at all.

Weird.

Hang in there really?

I am outside of Philadelphia and I felt the quake...funny, my body was shaking, even my insides and the first thing I thought was "Oh no, now what is wrong with me?"  Then realized my sofa, room and entire house was shaking and making noise, etc.  Kinda of freeky, but I was glad it wasn't me!!

 anita,
I have heard they are related, I live in Maryland not to far from you, and I was feeling like ...well you know when the earthquake struck. Kinda funny, my bird went nuts and flew all around the house then into the kitchen window over and over again..I thought he killed himself, but I finally got to him and stuck him in a towel until it was over. Thank God he was alright, it effects everyone in different ways!

Stay Well

Same here, the building I work in sure did shake and roll a bit....scared the tar out of us.

The pain today was okay until the quake and went sky high after.  It's going to be a long night. :(

Supposedly the quake was felt right up into Ontario, as far north as Sudbury.  I didn't feel anything, but I work at a location that gets trains going by all the time and so any sort of shaking I probably wouldn't notice...

Delaware .... yep, it was a movin' and a shakin' here.
I haven't felt a quake like that in 25 years.
I used to live in Japan and felt them all the time.
This one lasted a while ... 30 seconds or so.
The house groaned ....
The fishtank splashed around ...
The beagle ... SLEPT THROUGH IT.
I thought animals were supposed to sense it ahead of time.
HA!  Hounds ... nothing interrupts their sleep!!

LOL! I was taking a nap in my car between dr appts in Chapel Hill NC. It woke me up. I thought it was wind gusts but no wind. Looked for large trucks or equipment that might be causing it - nothing. So I went back to sleep as I still had 20 minutes to wait. Never occured to me that it was an earthquake. My naps are more important to me than a mere earthquake!
