For the immediate discomfort, Oragel! Thats right , the same stuff you use for a teething baby or a canker sore. Naturally you would want a new tube, and keep it for just your own special use.

I would recommend seeing your doctor about this, as there is an autoimmune disease called Bechet's which can cause this problem, and has some specific treatments. With a history of autoimmune disease already, it should be investigated.

   A66, I get small splits in my lady parts,  but ulcers!  Ouch!!

            Have heard that sitting in a bath with a handful of Bi carbonate is relieving.

        Wish I had a remedy, but Lindas' suggestion sounds good to me.

Oh, my...How very "uncomfortable" that must be.

I was just reading the thread "Split corners of mouth" and it dawned on me that I'd stopped taking my multi-vites about two months ago. I bet that's what it is!
