Who's ready for Easter? - I'm ready for Chocolate Easter Eggs....

I was going to do the whole family Easter thing.. I'm not even sure yet. Don't want to deal with my ignorant family BUT would like to see my Grandparents since they are close to the 90's and won't live forever I guess maybe just ignore the rest of the bunch lol

And chocolate for Easter.. yep it's one of my daily food groups too I just got the new caramel milky way I think it was and OMG it's good haha Thankfully I am able to keep my weight down so I chow down as long as I can and heck Sjogrens already took my teeth soooo eat up is how I see it 

I have been so bad that my Christmas tree is still standing lol My daughter tells me I should just put eggs on it and leave it there rofl and I just might do that... Just decorate my tree for the holiday. It's only a little 2 foot white one, I couldn't do a whole tree last year.

I know Christmas tree still standing how pathetic is that?

We have a lady around the corner that always every Easter decorates her outside tree with the plastic eggs.

I honestly do not care what people say about my "tree" lol My flare started in April of last year and did not stop until last month. I took pred. but as soon as I stopped it, the flare came right back. If no one likes my tree they can take it down for me.

BUT I am going to get eggs for my tree now, see how they like that  I'd say what I'll decorate it with next but this case of brain fog is not letting me think what holiday is next 

I need pink tinsel and colored eggs haha And when I do I'll take a pic. so everyone can see my year round tree rofl

You can use that colored plastic "grass" they use for Easter baskets as your tinsel.     I have a niece that did that one year . . just left her tree up and decorated it for each event that came up during the year. 

Let's see . . next thing after Easter is Mother's Day.  You could hang pictures of you all over the tree!     Or, if you have Mother's Day cards from years gone by, you could hang them from the tree.

My son came today and says "Mom, why is your tree still up"  How he's missed it all this time is beyond me haha Good thing he doesn't pay attention too much.


Ohhh yes Easter grass would work great lol Well, we do not have anything from when the kids were little due to a house fire I'm sure the local Dollar Store will have something to put on this tree for mothers day.

The Telephone Pioneers have an Easter egg hunt for the blind. (The eggs beep). The blind get keep count of the number of eggs that they find. The baskets are filled with candy for them to take home. (The Pioneers also have baskets of sugar free candy).

Oh dbab - I LOVE white chocolate Easter bunnies!  They were always my favorite and my mom always made sure to get me one every year.  And you are totally right - they were sooooo RICH!  If I got a solid one I could only take about three bites and then it got wrapped up in plastic wrap until the next day.  Of course, I always ate the candy eye first...

lol jordozmom, I wonder if they sell little bitty white chocolate easter bunnies just for kicks so I can have a bite given thats probably all I could eat just for nostalgic reasons of course ... actually I've graduated to the dark stuff now  oh yes! that pure sugar candy eye was heaven!
