I have had mouth sores since July 2010. When I eat bananas I have more breakouts in my mouth (chocolate also does it  :'( ). I still hadn't been definitely DX with Sjogrens. My signs and symptoms point to it. My SS-A was 8.0, which doesn't high after seeing all your results. My sed. rate was 39. The Rhuemologist said something there. Has anyone else had foods that caused more problems to add to the problem?  I love bananas AND chocolate.  :(

It is very common to have food allergies that can cause bad sores in the mouth. The only way you will know is to avoid the foods and then have some small amounts of just one food item and see what happens. If they bother then they just have to be avoided. I know I would feel bad if I couldn't eat M & M's, but if I could have jelly beans I would probably get over it. Irish ;D ;D

I get mouth sores from a few things and the list has grown over the years. When i couldnt eat cantalope, i switched to honeydew ect. Irish is right just stop eating your suspect foods for a while and then add them back in one by one and see if you can identify the culprits. :-)
