killer mouth ulcers!!!!

There is a "magic mouth wash" that is prescription only.  My dentist and my radiation oncologist have both ordered it for me and it is wonderful-better than anything else I have ever tried.  Hope you get some relief soon.

Yes amberjolie1 your right on the mouth wash. And that stuff is GOOD not tasting of course lol But it numbs the mouth up pretty good. I know when my daughter had all hers (I really think she has sjogrens but not bad YET) ugh she wanted to use that stuff every few seconds. I do not get mouth ulcers thank god cause I think I'd kill someone

Great suggestions here. I get tongue sores a lot. For a quick ease of pain, I suck on Popsicles. The cold seems to numb things a little. I hope you feel better!

What I do is soak the end of a Q-tip with hydrogen peroxide and apply and hold it on the ulcer for a minute or two. Doing this 4 times a day using resolves them pretty quickly. Sometimes it stings a bit, but the relief immediately afterward is worth it.

Had them all my life as well. Usually brought on by eatting a lot of acidic things like oranges or tomato sauces.  I had a REALLY bad one a couple of years ago. It hurt to talk, eat and even sleep because of where is was at. I had never had one that bad, I thought I was going to lose a tooth!

Today I woke up with parts of the roof of my mouth sore and a few spots on my tongue also.
