Two weeks ago, we had 20" of snow.  Yesterday, we were in the mid to high 50's.  Today, we're suppose to be in the low 60's.

Is it any wonder why people are sick this winter?!?  This crazy weather.

Here's the 10 day forecast for where I live in Central Illinois:

Today - low 60's w/up to 30 mph wind gusts
          - 50's
          - 50
          - 45
          - 45
          - 35
          - 35
          - 42
          - 40
          - 33

In these 10 days we'll have showers, partly cloudy, sunny, rain/snow, snow shower . . . . .

The groundhog did NOT see his shadow, so they say it will be an early spring . . . I'll believe it when I see it!!  I KNOW winter is not over . . . can only imagine what Mother Nature has yet to "gift" us with.   ::)

The animals are coming out looking for food - we've had over 20 deer in our field and just now I looked out and counted 28 wild turkey in our front field.   :o

In 60's here today... I took my staff and made the tour of flower beds and creekside.

The Mother of thyme is so pretty in little Garden of Joy and saw the herb, bloodroot already showing its beautiful leaves...no blooms yet.

No sign of the ginger yet though many of the daffodils now have buds.

The dove is cooing which indicates she's nesting already.

Bluebirds have built in walnut tree house.

Sadly we lost during high winds that brought warm front to us our at least 150 yield sycamore tree by the creek.

Heard a familiar crashing sound and stepped outside to see the magnificent tree succumb in the meadow.

Many a day I've hugged that tree as in one place my footbridge touched the side of the tree.

One day at a time.... this was a gorgeous one and the nighttime brings us a full moon!!!

Mother Nature is a true friend! :D
