Hi everyone,

Today isn't a very good day.
It's seems to all be progressing more-getting worse.

Constant dizziness and lightheadedness.
I woke up and was eating, seems like I had less feeling in my tongue.
Basically not feeling anything on your tongue when you are eating/drinking.

My hands also feel less, but it started with that first.
And I think my feet kind of aswell now.

The blurry vision and dizziness is really scaring me.
I need to basically press my face on the screen to be able and read well.

I'm trying to stay calm over it but I think I need some comforting hugs and good vibes sent my way.

It's weekend so none of my doctors are available to contact/are working as far as I know.

We'll have to see how it goes but most importantly is that I try not to worry myself endlessly untill thursday.
Easier said than done.:(

The issue is that it's very late here, being past midnight soon.
And I dislike the ER a lot. :-\

I don't think my Neuro would be available throughout the weekend+tonight as it's night duty.
So it really is a "-scratches head- situation".

I'll give it a bit and see how it goes.
Will talk to my mom and see what we'll do.

Thank you all for posting already and giving me advice on what I should do/you would do.

Love you Pixie Sis!
I know you're worried about me, this is also scaring me.

Shani, sending big comforting hug, but
Good idea to talk to mum, they do know best!

I too have suffered dizziness with nausea, not actually being sick tho'
Stay laying down and try to keep calm, but don't let it drag on.
Hope it all clears up real soon,
                                     Bless!      Dollyx

Thank you Cheryl, Dolly and Proberbs.
I might be up for a little while tonight as I cannot really sleep.
Just seeing if it won't progress more.

I had been having less feeling in my hands for a little while already.
It just seems to have progress more/spread out today or become more noticeable.

Many friends are telling me to go to the ER.
But it's a very hard situation as I much rather have my doctor being there.
I will go if it does get worse tho.

But the people telling me it could be things like a stroke etc, doesn't make me comfortable... :-\

I'm sure it's not that as I have been having tingling for a while which spread out to mouth, then few weeks after tongue-
Since this week dizziness constantly accompanied by blurry vision.
And just now I have less feeling in my tongue and such, feet, hands and mouth.

But I do understand their concern.

I'll try to call my Gp on monday and ask his advice(that's if it will be 'stable' untill then)
Then probably might go to the ER because I got my appointment thursday, not sure if I'll wait untill then.

Big hugs!!

I agree with the others that the ER is probably the best place to go.

I'm always of the opinion that if it isn't anything serious, I'd like to be told so I'm not worrying, and if it is something serious, it can be addressed sooner than later, which is always best.

Hugs to you.  Hope this passes for you and you get some relief.

I went through that for months.  It was awful.  I sympathize.
ERs didn't do anything for me.  They said 'you are stable, go call the doctor' .. and sent me home.
Two ENTS ... 'nothing wrong with you' ... and the other 'you have acid reflux' .. both obviously wrong.
One Rhuemy ... your body isn't just trying to kill off your saliva glands, it's trying to kill the tongue.
Made sense to me ... it's neurological AND it's the sjogrens killing the tongue.
At least that's what came up for mine ...
Plaquinel helps now.  Cut the problem down .. didn't get rid of it .. but cut it down.

I spent many months with something similar over 25 years ago. Dark room, warm bed, meditation. I had trouble standing, walking and often would crawl to toilet. My kids called me "the bear in the basement". Migraines made sound and light and motion all a problem.  All the medications were not effective. The over load of Tylenol damaged my liver.

Prayer, meditation, and Reflexology were the only tools I had to work with. As you start to take control and manage your symptoms, things will start getting better. I will not say that you will find a miracle cure but you will start to live again. It took me 7 years as I had several severe additional injuries during that time. I learned to control my breathing so I could stand up, walk, and sit down with out falling. As human beings we have the ability to learn how to adjust and adapt to every situation.

You are a miracle! Before this happened I was doing some study of artificial intelligence and robotics. In order to work on this I studied the human body and all of its functions and tried to apply them to AI and Robotics. You are far more marvelous than any of these device have achieved or currently are.  Each life has a value that is far beyond that of all national economies. ((((Shani))) remember you are loved and remember all the people that love and care for you.
