Kim

got hitched on Saturday. ;D.  Beautiful young Christian woman.

but Mama here so overdid it last week.  The CFS and sjs and fms and all the things are working overtime.  I pushed beyond pushing.  I knew this was coming.  But he's my only child. --my 25 year old baby. hehe.

I'm really looking for those beautiful violets in all the days right now.  Today it's watching my goats all happily sunning in the field.

Yay!
I never really mind hurting badly after a fun event. I like to think it was worth it to experience something that made me and the people I care about happy.

Kim,
You just keep those happy wedding moments on your mind!  I'm glad everything went so well, but I can also relate to the overdoing.   Rest well.

Oh Kim,

Boy, can I relate to that!! First of all, congrats to your son and his lovely wife!  :D :D

Our "baby" girl, 22, got married a little over a year ago and I really overdid it. I have the same combo-pack as you; CFS, Sjogren's and Fibro.  I planned too much, decorated too much and all around worked my poor body and mind to exhaustion. I kept pushing. The wedding was beautiful, the bride and groom were so happy, the guests were great and momma was laid up for 2 weeks!

I wasn't sorry that I did it. It was wonderful, so I know what you mean. Here's hoping some watching the goats will help you rest up, and I'll keep looking for some violets for you, too!  Take care and get some well-deserved rest...

Sending along a late congratulations to your son and his new wife!

I hope you are feeling better...

Kim

Thanks everybody.  I'm still having a lot of BAD days.  So I guess I kicked up a big old flare.  But I would do it again.  The newly weds live in our basement right now.  They are in the process of building a home.  So hopefully 6 or 8 months they will be in their own home.  but right now they have their own little apartment as our basement is built in and has a small kitchen area and everything.  So they are happpy as little larks.

Kim,

Glad to see a post. I know it's hard to do when you are exhausted!  Yep, sounds like you kicked up a big flare.  I know! I did the same when my daughter married.
I had SO much fun planning and working the wedding, but I had SO many bad days afterwards.  :( Like you, I wouldn't have changed anything.
I'm glad the newlyweds are happy as little larks in their basement apartment with you. Take care of yourself, and hey, maybe let them help out around the house more right now.
