happy Birthday all you Jan. born people!!!!
Horizons, your BDay is the same date as my wedding anniversary. My Husband and I will celebrate it when we go to FL next week to see our 1 yr. old grandson. We're so excited.

Today was my special happy birthday. Thanks Bucky for the reminder...chocolate cake comes tomorrow with 7-minute homemade frosting.

My favorite DIL is making it and son is off tomorrow and is bringing it by in a.m. Love to share a piece with all you sjoggie friends.

Grandson, 7 yrs. old, called and sang HB song to me, even the Mamaw part...precious. Could squeeze him 'flat'... and, he can carry a tune. 82 yr old 'girl friend' called and sang HB song. Also, said she became a great-grandmother for the first time last night!!

Hubby took me to Red Lobster for dinner. Went hubby mentioned it was my birthday, after eating a piece of cake with lite candle and group sang happy birthday to me.

Hubby and daughter's surprise... We are leaving to visit daughter (Sjoggie one) and two granddaughters and SIL in Atlanta area tomorrow

Yes, has been an eventful day...tired and heading off to bed early. Looking forward to the weekend visit with family members...have not seen daughter in a year.

Bucky,
Thank you for asking. It was # 22. I didn't meet my husband until I was 35 and quite happy to be single. He had been divorced less than a year when I met him. We married when I was 41 It takes people time to heal from rough experiences, like divorce. The grand children are from his children from the previous marriage.
We knew right away that we would always be friends and still enjoy doing so many things together.
