Hi All,

I just want to give a bit of background to my recent problems.  I have just come back from a long weekend away with my cousins and aunty.  We had such a wonderful time, all we did was laugh, eat and dance!

We went to a hotel where we had to be up at 7am to get breakfast at 8am, this was tough as we were not going to bed until around 1-2am and I dont sleep well anyway.  On top of this we were out every day on day trips, walking everywhere, plus we danced every night.  In short I got more exercise there than I have in a very long time and I always felt very tired but seemed to be able to carry on.

I got home two days ago and I felt absolutely exhausted.  My eyes, legs & feet have swelled up and my elbows, wrists, knees and ankles are so painful.  I feel so drained and in pain, I have not gone to the doctors yet, been to tired.  Anyway, I think I have probably overdone the exercise, but cannot undertand why my eyes would be so puffy above and below, like I had been in a boxing ring.  I am wondering if anyone has had a similar thing happen or any opinions would be welcome.  My ESR levels are usually fine?

Thanks for your help :)

Dearest Seren
Sounds to me like you REALLY overdid it! lolol but wasn't it great? Happens to me all the time if i so much as do a 1/4 of what you've done! Right now i'm flaring so anything I do will bring swelling and pain. Try resting awhile but do go to a doctor if it doesn't go down in a couple of days or it gets worst.

Glad you had fun!! and hope you feel better soon ;)

Hi Mink,

Thanks for the reply...lolol, yes we really did have fun. Humour is the one thing, apart from my family & faith that really makes life worth living.  We had such a blast, I can't tell you :D  yes I think I really overdid it.  I think after two days the swelling is going down, I cant believe I am so unfit tho.  I really must start some sort of (gentle)exercise routine when I am fully recovered.  I am resting but if I dont start to feel better tomorrow, I think I will go to the Doctors...

Cheers
Take Care
