Mouth tingling.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone experienced mouth tingling before?
I noticed this since two days ago.

(Seems like it's always something.)

My mouth has been very dry as I've got the flu now aswell.
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with that.

I do have Polyneuropathy but that is caused by the Plaqueni as Rheumy/Neuro assumes so it can't really be spreading out as I have quit that drug about 6 weeks ago.

I'm not sure what it is but I've never had it before.
Read somewhere that it could be because of not having enough calcium intake.
It can't be that either as I take calcium+Vit D every morning with my Pred.

Yes, Shani.

My lips and around my mouth always tingle.  My lips have been numb for a few years before my diagnosis.  In fact this was one of my first symptoms.
I take Lyrica and it helps the numbness/tingling.  Lyrica is expensive but it does help.  I cannot offer any more help, sorry.  Lucy

it feels like u just went ta dentist after he numbed^cha & it's lets say 2 hrs later!!!

& ur tounge & lips are ^JUST^ wakin' up semi~there but not quite!!!
(my chin also tingles!) & my tasters are changin'! (my fav garlic sourdough bread...i hate it now!!!)
not jokin'...1 of many lost loves!!!

i'm uber sorry kid~o...ur 2 young ta not be able ta enjoy the ^JUNK FOOD^!!!

That's the best way to describe it.
It's not that bad that my lips go numb or anything like that.
But it's already annoying enough to make me wonder what could be causing it.
Probably just another odd Sjogren thing.

I know about Lyrics and those drugs, they do seem to help a lot of people though.
But I'd rather avoid more drugs, although those tingly sensations can be quite annoying.
