Hello All, my name is Dorothy and I have been diagnosed with Sjogren's about 2yrs ago.  I have had many issues such as dry eyes, dry mouth and was diag. with Raynauds and RA in my spine.  I have joint pain and am seeing a Neuro for Restless leg syndrome.  I know some about this disease but not alot. I have been experiencing many different things but lately mainly night sweats, heavily.  I wake up drenched in sweat from head to toe no matter what the temp is outside.  Also, I have some twitching going on, and have daily sweating in the armpit region.
I am seeing Rheumitology for Sjogrens/Raynauds/RA and my ANA is still very high but levels for Sjogrens are at a good level.  I have a problem with hydration. I am always drinking water, and cannot go more than 30mins. with out drinking water.  I suffer from Fatigue ALOT, but not to the point in which it debilitates me.  Thank you all for listening.

Just like to welcome you Dorothy to Sjogrens World.

Dorothy,
Welcome to Sjogrensworld.   I hope you find help and make friends here!
Night sweats are pretty common in here.   You didn't mention your age; are you menopausal?  Some medications cause excess sweating - salagen and evoxac, for example.   Thyroid malfunction can cause it, too.   Night sweats are also a symptom of non hodgkins lymphoma.  At any rate, you should probably discuss them with your doctor.
Best wishes!  We are glad to have you join us as a member!

I have been REALLY thirsty too. Wish I could go get a saline pic.. :)
Gatorade with a lot of ice is helping with thirst. But my skin shows dehydration, I read somewhere that glycerin holds water and  glycerol  topical/oral helps wit hydration

Glycerol replacement corrects defective skin hydration, elasticity, and barrier function in aquaporin-3-deficient mice
