Pins and needles on buttocks...any input?

I just wondered if any of you have experienced the pins and needles on the buttocks.  New symptom for me.   This at first felt like a bad rash, prickly.  When I got a chance to actually look, there was no rash.  At that point, I knew it was peripheral neuropathy.  It was fri pm, so I took my neurontin, lidoderm patches, and pain med.  It was much better the next day but it didn't go away.

I knew that I couldn't blow this symptom off as it could be permanent if ignored.  First appt I could get was Tues, and he put me in the hospital.  Still waiting for diagnosis and it is somewhat dependent on the spinal tap results.  I also had had NCV and EMG in Dec. and found out the results only the day of my admission.  "meningeal irriation"

Yikes, sounds scary.

Anyone have pins and needles anywhere?  That's my main concern.

Tinker, I usually do not experience pins and needles unless I have blood flow problems. (One position too long with pressure in the wrong place). I tried a new set of tones recently on the zapper for RNA/DNA and spiritual well being. The meridian that was not functioning from the auto accident in 1983 that left my left side with intermittent paralysis started to tingle with pins and needles. It lasted 24 hours. That is the longest I have had pins and needles.

I know that is nothing compared to what you are experiencing. I hope you receive relief soon.
