Hi everyone. :-*

With the weather affecting us, many are hurting.
Ache there, swelling there, etc.. dryness getting worse.
Well I guess I have gotten used to that.

But one of the things that has been really frustratinG me again: Fatigue.
For more than a week now I have been sleeping all day.
it's currently 7.36pm and my mom had to wake me up for dinner.
I only woke up in the morning around 7am ish to take my medicines and have breakfast.

It's just ridiculous and my mom is concerned about it.
I am guessing I am just flaring badly?
All of my joints hurt/many are swollen and inflammated, dryness is worse and so on.

I was doing good on thursday when I went to Gp or well 'better' he said I looked better too.
Then saturday woke up feverish and feeling hot, hands were like on fire same with my feet.
Same story today and yesterday.

It's kind of driving me nutty even with getting so much sleep I still feel like I didn't get enough rest.

Thinking that it's not even Winter yet, oh goody... but well I guess the dampy climate here in Belgium plays a big role in this.
Last year I wsa hurting a lot too during this season.(When do we not hurt?? Lol)

Joe S.

You may want to have a study for sleep apnea. That can keep you from getting restful sleep.

Have they ever told you that you have Neuropathy,, my feet burn,, my hands burn,, they finnaly went numb,, now I just cut them occasionally and dont kow it till I see the blood, I dont know why they call it a flare,, I guess some people have them and get over it, I have yet to come off my (flare),, I guess a sleep study is a good idea,, but I suspect its the neuropathy,, and everything else going on thats making you just feel miserable, wish I could tell you good luck,, but I dont belive in it,, only thing I believe in is fate,, the kind we have no control over

Shani

Thank you Joe.
I will look into that, many people I know had that done before.

Navydad, yes I am getting an Emg done on the 13th of December for Neuropathy.
Although I know sometimes it requires a biopsy to be 100% sure such as Small fiber neuropathy etc.
Hopefully the Emg will be enough.
Have had tingling sensations, burning, pins-needles all over in my feet and hands.
Really annoying.
I guess it could be from all those symptoms too.
Thank you for your response.

Do not be suprised if the EMG study comes back normal and your shoved out the door with a scrip for Neurotin or something like that,, ask about a punch biopsy  while your tehre,, you need to cover all things,, a lot of us have had those dam EMG studies,, only to be told were normal,, when in fact our nerves were being destroyed becasue the EMG cant pick up the smll fiber damage,, if your having hot hands,, hot feet,, and other weird stuff,, that sounds like sensory stuff more then motor stuff, which EMGs are good at findnig,,

Shani

Hopefully it will show then, I have been reading a lot about Neuropathy.
And most likely it's rather Sensory by me.
Get symptoms like not really being able to feel hot water.
Feeling like you stepped in water with your feet etc.
Wearing 'invisible' socks/gloves.

I looked up Small fiber neuropathy, doesn't seem pleasant either.

No its not pleasent, its hte most miserable thing I can think of,, it will drive you insane,, least thats what its doing to me,, another thing,, if they call it idiopathic,, dont just accept that,, there are many many things out there that cause this,, and I suggest getting on lizajane.org,, download the sheets and write on the numbers from bloodwork or anyother testing they do

Shani

I can't imagine but this already drives me nutty, so it must drive you insane as you said.
And thank you for your great help, I'll definitely keep that in mind if they mention it.
I don't accept things easily, need to have a reason such as 'Why'What caused it' etc.
Will save up the link and download it later on, looks useful.
