A Different Neuro visit

Patze, I would have to get another referral from my GP before I could go to another neuro. That would be months away. Currently my next GP appointment is in November. I called to set it up immediately after seeing the neuro. That was the soonest that I could get in.

I'm sorry to hear that Joe, I hoped that you'd be seen a lot quicker than that.  Geez.

Is your insurance an HMO, a PPO or something else?  Can you contact your insurance company and see if they'll do an override (an exception) and allow you to see another neuro without having to go to your primary?
