Gosh..I am sorry you are feeling miserable with that rash. What miserable timing.  I hope you are able to manage at the funeral without all that itching too. :-( 

A Z-pak is 5 day dose of Zithromycin.

BonusMom, Z pack is Zithromax which is an antibiotic of the erythromycin family. It has a different dosing schedule where you take 2 pills the first day and one pill the next 4 days. The medication lasts 10 days in your system. You can take another series after the 10 days are up. They have started adding the second series because so many of the infections need longer dosing to kill the bacteria. Another example of resistant germs. Irish

Hmmm, I didn't know E-mycin and Zithromax were in the same family.  Not smart on antibiotics!  I hardly ever have to take them, especially since SJS.  But, I just know I don't want either of them and I should be ok.  Usually don't have problem with meds.  Lucy
