The time changes for us in Illinois this weekend....yippeeeeeeee...I cant wait!!! Staying light 1 hour later will make all the difference in the world!

Bucky

We've been enjoying warmer weather here in Central IL the last few days.  Our snow is 99.5% all gone - there are still a few little spots where it was piled up that haven't melted yet, but for the most part - they're gone.  Yay!!  Sorry some of you still have plenty on the ground.  =(  We've had rain on and off the last few days too.  The tornadoes are already hitting parts of the U.S.

Our driveway is a sea of mud . . . ugh.  We desperately need a load of gravel.

Today as I was driving down our street I saw two crows in the road up ahead.   As my car approached them, they flew up . . . guess what was in the road???  A SNAKE!!!  EWWWWWWWWWWWW . . . I hate snakes!!  If someone cornered me with a snake in their hands I would die of fright!!  After I passed by, the crows went back to claim their lunch.  Today, I am thankful for two crows!!  LOL

That is one thing I DON'T like about spring, summer and fall . . . all the bugs, snakes, ants, etc.  Guess I'm just hard to please.  ;)

Happy middle of the week.   ;D

Hey Bucky,

You aren't a bit fussy are you?  ;) :D  That's okay, I won't be in the same room with one either!  ;D

Hey Bucky....yes...we have mud EVERYWHERE too!! When the dogs go out...I have to have a towel out and ready to wipe their feet....but I still seem to have footprints all over the house from them...everything is a mess! But the snow has melted for the most part...and the ground will dry up one day too so I shouldn't complain!!  :D

We had a heavy frost overnight, but the day was beautiful. Still cold, but warm enough to feel hopeful. I love the spring.

Spring has brought more activity to our local badgers, who have started moving more freely through our mini orchard and rooting up our meadow and fruit trees.  I have to keep reburying everything!  Still I'm not complaining.
