Hi again

I posted a few weeks ago as I have been wondering whether I may have Sjogrens.  I went to my GP this week and he has ordered some blood tests which I'm having next week. He said we should get my inflammatory markers checked - would this show if anything is going on?

Anyway what I wanted to ask is I keep getting this strange taste in my mouth - kind of burning but also like I've just licked a bar of soap.  My eyes get the same feeling on and off too.  Is this something anyone has experienced and is there anything I can do to stop it?

Thanks - Rachel

If your eyes are bothering you, they might be dry.  You might buy some artificial tears without preservative and see how they help.  If you think you may have an eye infection, you should see your eye dr.

As for the taste of soap............not sure I've heard that one, but we do have odd tastes.  Most of them just plain nasty.  We also have alot of us using Biotene products, toothpaste, mouthwash etc for dry mouth.

One good thing is that your dr seems to be on top of things and having you tested etc.  Lucy
