my sisters ROCK!!!!!

Hi everyone!!

Just wanted to share with you how awesome my sisters are!!  I have been really down since being diagnosed with SJS and having a wonderful pity party all to myself.  I wasn't answering their phone calls, e-mails, etc.  Three of my sisters, the 4th lives in Washington, showed up on Saturday and made me take a shower, do my hair, and get dressed.  They took me out and made me laugh   Then they made me sleep over at one of their houses where we had a wonderful night of laughing, singing (karoke), and family.   We all ended up sleeping over and having a wonderful time. 
Today is a better day because of my sisters and i can't thank them enough and love them to death.  Now i just need to keep my chin and spirits up and let family help me do it!!!!!  When you have Sjoggies, you need the support and  love of family and friends and when you are in a funk, it is the hardest thing to let people help, but when you do let them in, the heavy curtain lifts and you can see that the sun still comes out and life must go on!!!  Mary, Jenny, and Steff...I love you all very much and thanks for kidnapping me!!!

Wow . . .how nice of your sisters to kidnap you and shower you with attention for the weekend.  Sounds like it was fun.  Kudos to your sisters for seeing that you needed this.  Do your sisters want to adopt me???  LOL

I'm sure this happy time will remain in your heart and memory for a long, long time.

Sara what a great post - I think it's fantastic what your sisters did for you and am so pleased that you had a fab time and some distraction therapy for a while.  As you rightly say things llike this lift your spirits and keep you going through the bad days. 

If they ever want to increase their income you can hire them out as 'Sjoggis little helpers' as they sound teriffic people and I'm sure there would be no shortage of customers!!
