Can't take the methotrexate any more because of a low white blood count, and I must have a bone marrow biopsy done. UGH!  He want start me on any of the other newer medications because I have some low grade Lymphoma caused by SJS. He was in quite a tizzy about what to do. For now tho I am still on the SJS meds. Thanks goodness for them. Is anyone else having luck with the evox...I take it 3 times a day.  I can't tell if the pains comes from RA for SJS... I have really been down in the dumps ever since the visit.  Say a little prayer that my bone marrow is still working. And have a happy Thanksgiving one and all.....

Meme,
Sorry to hear your count is low :(, hope it improves soon. I too wonder how to tell if my joint pains are sjogrens's or RA....then I think does it matter were it comes from?  ??? Just want it to go away.
Hang tough and will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Hugs,

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers meme. I hope you get through the bone marrow biopsy with little difficulty and that you get some answers soon...keeping everything crossed as well that the results are what you hope for!

How soon do you have to get the biopsy done? Let us know how you are doing.....

Good luck with the bone marrow biopsy.  I hope they do it quick and it is not painful, and the results are good. I to have RA and SJS and can never tell where the pain comes from.  There are so many new drugs out there for RA.  I hope they find something that works well for you.  I had been on Humira, for a  few years but then I built up a tolerance for it, Now I take Orencia.  It keeps me moving and pretty painfree some of the time.
Maybe if your pain gets too bad they can put you on prednisone for a short time.....or at least give you pain pills.
Take care and hang in there.
