About 5 to 6 weeks ago, I started having raw places on my tongue with a very distinctive white line around the boarders. Just wondering if anyone else with Sjogren's has had this as well.

Could it be a thrush type of infection???  Sorry, no experience with that symptom.

Sometimes I get a raised area in the center of my tongue that looks like the outline of India, I call it my National Geographic tongue.

Well I do but didn't know it was called that.It is usually accompanied with mouth sores but not always. The Rheumy gave me a script for a compounded solution of stuff to help the pain and discomfort.Even the dentist didn't offer a reason why I get this so often.

Martha,

Yes, I have a geographic tongue.   My dentist pointed it out many years ago.  I always wondered what was wrong with it because the shapes on it were always different.  Anyway, once I finally got my SJS diagnosis, got put on evoxac and do so much to try to keep my mouth as moist as possible, my tongue seems to have pretty much gone back to normal without all the weird shapes on it.  (Believe it or not, I once had the shape of Mickey Mouse's head and ears on it -- had all my friends in hysterics!  No lie!)
