Beautiful Sunday...

Well, have tried to post two times and have lost them both while trying to check my spelling in my computer medical dictionary. BUT, just peered out the door and there's a beautiful day just outside my bedroom door waiting on me!

Got up at 6 a.m. and 'dusted'  in the dark my half of this retirement house we built. Hubby has his end and I have mind...great room is in the middle w/kitchen. Just perfect...we even have our personal Mason Dixon Line. Rest of time have enjoyed reading all the new post on this site.

After Hubby finished doing the vacuuming the other day, he left two Swiffer dusters- one short/one long-in clear view for me to see. Duh!!  He left them at 'our personal Mason Dixon Line' in our home  We, two oldies, play mind games... about only thing we do for 'FUN"!!!!haha!!!

BUCKY, COUNT ME IN... I'm off to eat breakfast while enjoying the beautiful outdoors.  Low 70's and sunny here today in the TN foothills of the Smoky Mts. Lookout twitters, you know, little birddies ...here she comes!

Have I got it wrong, but I thought you were on East, but farther up from the Smokies???
Girl, you know how it is with me, just because I thought it don't make it right! So please tell me again where you're at in TN.

If my husband can take the time off we will be in the Smokies for Thanksgiving! We spent one there a few years ago and had the best time, most peaceful time. I do believe it's a huge dose of medicine for the soul! Plus I wanted to go for Christmas, so since we can't go because too much other stuff going on during this time we want to go then. I can hardly wait.

Lord please let this man be able to go! I need an escape!

For those of you that have never been but hoping to go/ and for those returning one day you have got to go to this site to check out some of the cabins for rent, they are the best!!!!! http://www.sherwoodforestresort.com/index.asp

Now don't get me wrong there are many great places to stay. BUT! BUT! BUT! There are some dives there too! So be very careful when making arrangements. People come from all over the world all year long, so if the rentals don't update it will be a problem for you when you get there.

J- -Y . . . . . your dusting arrangement with your hubby sounds interesting.  If I tried that with my family one side would be dustless and the other would be prime for science experiments (mine would be the dustless side!!  ).

Enjoy those beautiful mtns. of TN . . . I love it down there.  Hoping to go there for Spring break 2010.

Thanks, Janna for being soooo sweet! Any chance I could hire you to sing your above quote to the tune of Jingle Bells, say maybe 25 times, for my three kids and spouses before our Christmas 'get-to-gather'? To them Joy's not always a Joy!      Shocked, don't be; the name of my little cabin is Joy's Doghouse!!

BTW, spent the afternoon at my small two room cabin by the creek's side. Watched the big fluffy cumulus clouds quickly floating by as rain is approaching from the North... heard a familiar sound off in the distance and soon begin to see a V-shaped flock of Canadian geese passsing overhead.

Will you please consider doing another favor? If you post with Bucky, mention I did my 10 minutes x 12 and enjoyed every minute of it.

Just a closing thought... Janna, honey, you think the flock of geese might have come from your way?  L  L, Joy
