Hi my lovely friends

We heard from my brother today that my niece gave birth to Abi-Leigh at 3 am, weighing 8 lbs 3 oz. My niece had to have a blood transfusion after her c-section, but mum and baby are fine and dandy.

Abi-Leigh was also 4 weeks early, so it certainly is a canny weight. Her mum is less than 5 feet tall, and her first baby was 10.5 pounds, so you can see why the prayers were needed!

Congratulations on the new addition!!! Baby girls are so sweet and they have the cutest outfits.  My great niece who is five months old is a fashion plate!!  Glad all is well with both Mom and Abi-Leigh.

Hi Chickpea

No, I've not met her yet. My mum went to see her today, and reported that she is the image of her four year old brother, when he was her age. That mean's she's a little cutie!  Interestingly, her brother had a mane of black curly hair - now he is white blond! So, I guess we have another little (potential) blonde on our hands.

My little grand-daughter always appared blonde. Now she's thirteen months, and had a distinct strawberry blonde look. It's amazing how babies change, isn't it?
