Has anyone been diagnosed with Sjs but does not have problems with dry eyes?

  Hi Sleepy,

I started with the eye discomfort, quite some time before my mouth got so dry that I noticed.

then the skin, the nose , nails, etc and and any which way but !!

One can never tell with SS,  it just goes along it's own path! Giving and Giving, as is the expression used a lot here..
                   But chin up,      Dolly

It is different with everyone. I get what I refer to as "allergy eyes" but it happens sometimes only. It was happening when I got my diagnosis and I rated a 1 in both eyes -- but they didn't bother me.
My mouth doesn't feel dry but it get cavaties a lot!

It is all sooo strange.  :-\

I've had dry eyes for many years (probably 20 or more), but only really noticed the dry mouth 18 months or so ago.  Reading on here it seems everyone's experience is different.  xx

I have dry eyes, but the dry mouth took about a year to kick in and isn't nearly as constant or bad as my eyes.

My eyes are the worst, my skin is getting a lot dryer, and the mouth is not so bad, yet.

I've had Sjogren's for 20 years.  I have not had saliva for most of that time but my eyes have never been dry.

My dry eyes began with Lasik surgery almost ten years ago.  They just kept getting worse and worse.  Two and a half years ago I was dx with Sjogrens.  My mouth began to become dry much after the eyes, but--the Lasik set the eyes in motion.
