Title: Pennsylvania Lip Biopsy completed!
Post by: yodeb on July 15, 2009, 09:08:29 AM
Hello everyone!

I had my Lip Biopsy today and it went very well. I took an ice pack with me and iced the area twice on the way home. I am home and it has been about 3 hours since the procedure.  Swelling almost all the way down as well as the numbness.  I am having a little bit of pain, but took Motrin and already feeling a little relief.  I have three stitches that are supposed to disolve in about a week on their own.  The doctor gave me an antibiotic and a pain med.  For now, don't need the pain med.  I am supposed to get my results in about a week.
A HUGE thanks to all of you that helped me prepare for this!
Enjoy the day,
~deb

Glad to hear that you got through it OK.  I have my fingers crossed that you get some answers soon, though I do hope that it turns out to be something less frustrating than SJS.

Its good to hear the positive stories for this procedure as we all too often hear the negative ones (which has put me off getting it done).

Hope the healing continues and you get some answers soon.
