Title: New to Sjogren's World
Post by: jordozmom on June 25, 2009, 07:04:45 AM
Greetings, All!

Was diagnosed with Sjogren's 10 years ago but somehow never made it to this site!  I've recently had a flare that just doesn't seem to be going back into remission - afraid this may be the new "norm" for me.  I'm out looking for new information about coping with my new symptoms, and also for advice on coping with the fatigue and the emotional issues that come with having this disease.

It feels so good to know that I'm not alone!

Love and Strength,

Michelle

Welcome Michelle,  So glad you found us!  As soon as my doc said Sjogren's I had to find a support site immediately, it has helped a lot in understanding and having some support from people who truly understand.  Welcome again!

Hi Michelle,

Welcome to your new Sjoggie family.   ;D  As you browse thru the site you will find all kinds of information relating to Sjogren's.  Our little family is made up of a wide variety of ages from 4 yrs. old on up, female and male.  Some are brand new to Sjogren's, others have had it for years and are just now getting their Dx.

Feel free to search for specific topics, ask questions, offer advice and suggestions.

Since this website is global, there is usually someone here around the clock.   ;D  If you are into "chatting", we have a live chat several times during the week - check our Chats link for your time where you live.

Welcome . . . kick your shoes off and make yourself at home.

Hi Michelle

Welcome from me too. I'm in te UK, and it's 9.15 in the evening just now, so I'm one who has definitely kicked off her shoes  :)
You will soon get to know your new 'relatives' and hopefully, be ready to join in the banter, as well as giving and receiving advice and empathy.
