Title: RNP Antibody Can someone explain what this test is for????
Post by: ohiolady on June 17, 2009, 01:43:16 PM
I'm reviewing my test results online and my RNP antibody is elevated.  Can someone explain what this test is for or what picture it paints?

Thanks for your help.

Anna,

Check out this web site www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15804705.

Thanks, Epson.  After looking at it again, it is not very elevated, only mildly.  My bloodwork continues to look pretty normal except for Hashimotos Thyroiditis.  I'm glad my blood looks good though my body does not always agree. :)
