The rain has gone away and the flowers are blooming, of course I can't go out to enjoy them, but I can look out the window with 70 spf sunscreen and enjoy them or use my infrared night vision goggles to look at them after the sun goes down. My neighbors hate my night vision goggles because they allow me to cut my grass at 11:00PM, that's why they make ear plugs, dummy!
I mean isn't life all about taking lemons and making lemon aid? Well, I stopped making lemon aid so I have to go back to the hospital for more surgery. There's more traffic going in and out of my bladder then Chicago's O'Hair airport and I am tired of it! I feel like I am standing in front of the monkey cage at the zoo while the monkeys fling poop at me and I can't find any cover!
Yesterday's sleep test didn't go well either, new rule, if you have Sjogren's, you don't have to deal with anymore health problems!
Gosh Epson, I'm so sorry things are not so good for you right now.
I am happy though to see that you still maintain your sense of humor, your posts make me LOL.
Keeping you in my thoughts!
Hi Epson needed that laugh, hope you feel better. Thank you hugs and kissess .
OOH Epson,
As I read this, I am swaying as I recline back, in my hanging chair listening to the breeze blow thru the trees. The sun is shining, my dog Elroy, is by my side. I am in the shade, the breeze is comfortably cool, my lap top sits comfortably on my lap. You get the picture. I am in my happy space on my front deck.
Uh oh Elroy's all wound Up, Now I have to get Up and untangle him.
Oh well he managed to get in the lounge chair and he is happy now.
Epson I always appreciate how you frame your issues, you make pretty funny pictures out of your circumstances.
I really do hope they get your bladder traffic into control, and you can become more like our Arkansas XNA in and out traffic.
And now, DO YOU REALLY use night vision goggles. 8) to mow in the night. REALLY ;D
We will all..... here in your sjoggy world, protect you from those mean monkey's. Remember we cheer you on in all the bad stuff this SJS battle throws at you.
Keep us posted on your progress. Blessings kimbo
Hilarious ;D, i love it when someone can make us laugh about our situation!! I hope all goes well for you:)
Epsom, your a one off!
You can always be counted on to cheer us up, even through all your health issues,
and for this I salute you..
Sorry your not glowing anymore! Chin Up. Dolly
Epson,
I find that when we stop poking fun or laughing at what has been dealt to us....that is when we are in trouble. Attitude is everthing. Sometimes that is all we have.
Take Care!
Vicky
Thanks for the posts; I am new to the forum; logged on an hour ago and have been jumping from link to link from the post about legislation. sent the link to the page to our celiac support info lady.
Really interesting.
Reply to present line -- yes. Now I know why I enjoy the view from inside so much. Have lots to learn here. Like, is coffee ok, or does that help deplete hydration, even tho it helps to get me jump-started.
Thanks in advance for any info or time/attention given.
Like to 'hear' the banter. Sounds like music to my ears.
Hi to all,
laney
Epson - I think you're an amazing man!
I'm really sorry things aren't going well for you right now.
We're all here for you though.
Take care - Scottie
Epson,
I feel so bad for you. What is up with your bladder now? I know you have a great sense of humor, but right now, I just am so sorry for all you are going through. Sometimes, it just gets to be too much. With all that said, I'm praying things will soon look up for you.
Anna
Ohhh Epson...more surgery!! I'm sorry about that!
I totally agree with Vicky....it is vital to be able to maintain our sense of humor and a good attitude through all of this....and if/when we lose that....we are big trouble!!
I hope your bladder traffic and the monkey poop Frisbees slow down for you!
Keep us posted!
Well, it seems that my kidney is blocked again and will have another stent installed, that makes this nightmare 8 months long, one more month and maybe I'll give birth to something. Hopefully I will know more tomorrow.
Epson, Say, are you selling tickets for the lawn mowing at midnight with the night vision goggles or for whatever you are going to give birth to???
All kidding aside, Epson, I am so glad that you are maintaining that wild sense of humor that you have. Like was said earlier, sometimes humor is all we have cause we are so drained emotionally and physically. I get to the point where I wonder why we even go to the doctor. Sometimes I just put off making an appt. Hopefully, the traffic will slow down to your bladder. Hope the stent goes in fast and that you feel better after it is in.
You have had a heck of a year. LIke has been said before these autoimmune diseases just keep on giving. Please take care of yourself cause we need you around here to keep us in line. Let us know how things are going for you.(pardon the pun) Irish ;D
I say put on the night vision goggles....wait till the monkeys are asleep...and throw
the poop right back at em!!!! I do appreciate your humor with it all. I hope you know
you are in my prayers and you take a lot of stress away. Just don't move to Texas
near my best friend...her mother will shoot you if you mow in the night...heck she
almost shot her own daughter....lol...true story!
JJ
you are still hilarious :-) sorry about all the monkey doo you have.
You know, if your neighbors hate the fact that you mow your lawn at 11pm, you'd think they'd volunteer to do it for you during the day. If I knew my neighbor couldn't tolerate the sun and was sick, I'd be happy to mow his/her lawn. Even for a glass of tea when I was done and a little chat.
People can be insensitive sometimes.
Gsmraxe,
There's any empty lot net to my house, I think you should build next to me.
Epson
Epson, I thought at 11 PM half the world was up surfing the web and the other half was watching Craig Ferguson!Irish ;D
Epson,
I have a neighbor who likes to attempt to play drums starting around midnight. He just installed a new sound system with outdoor speakers and he really has a great system, let me tell you. I live about 800 feet away and it sounds like he is right next to my window. He also likes to shoot guns late at night as we can hear alot of rounds going off. FYI - we live way out in the country and not really close by.
I would take lawn mowing over him any day.
Love your sense of humor, got a good chuckle out of me!
Sassie
SassieCat,
I have a storm detention pond that that runs behind my house, it is over 90 feet wide and would you believe that I can hear the lady that lives there on the phone when here patio door is open. It sounds like she is in our kitchen, we call her Mrs. Megaphone.
Mrs. Megaphone, that is to funny.I'm sorry your having more problems. You are certainly due for a break.Take care.
Ruby
Epson,
That megaphone lady can probably hear you , also. Ya know water makes sound travel really well.
kimbo
Kimbo,
The pond is empty! It only holds water for a couple of days after it rains, trust me, if she could hear me she would move, be afraid, be very afraid. :o
Epson,
That is just too funny, Mrs. Megaphone. I really cracked up on that one. I have a pond on the other side of me, it's 3/4 on my property and 1/4 on another neighbor. The eccentric ones. They are the nature lovers who believe if I see a spider in my house, I should gently pick it up and put it back outside.
No Way!!!! I'm gonna kill the evil little beings. They stalk you while you sleep and come after you from the ceilings. It's kill or be attacked and they're mean and evil. Die spiders!!! Sorry, got kind of carried away there. These neighbord don't mow their yard because it would destroy the homes of the animal and insects that live there. Other than that, they are pretty good neighbors and don't harm anyone, or should I say anything. ha ha
I really don't hear much other than the highway in front. It's pretty peaceful most of the time. We all avoid crazy dude, he was committed once before when he tried to kill his mother. Now he just fires guns and cranks up the sound every now and again.

Not a good place to live if you don't like the sun. I heard on TV once that we have over 300 days a year of sun in San Diego. I can't stand the cold, makes everything ache. :-\
You need to get a nice neighbor in that lot next door to you. One that will help you out a little.
Epson,
You made me laugh until I cried! I love the mowing with the night vision goggles. What a riot! You go ahead and do what you need to do, your neighbor will have to live with it!
Cool. Now I want some night vision goggles. I bought a telescope so I have a night oriented hobby. But now I am imagining what I could do with night vision goggles. Life is beautiful. I have seen the Andromeda galaxy and the spiral galaxy and all of the planets and a comet. Who needs the sun.
KL
Hey Epson-
With all that traffic going through your bladder, maybe you should charge admission or a parking fee like they do at the airport?
Hang in there and know that I'm pulling for you. As for your new rule, "If you have Sjogren's you will have no other health problems", I'm with you 100%,
Tracy
Epson,
Just thought I would let you know that crazy neighbor got his motorcycle out. He has reminded us all of his love of the highway because we all wake up at 3 in the morning when he rev's that baby up. Can't drive down a driveway without gunning the motor. Makes the semi's jake brakes sound like whimps.
Think I could ask him to trade it in for a lawn mower? ::) (smile)
