Good morning all,
Ok, so I posted about two weeks ago that I was to have a lip biopsy, but it turned into just a consult, today it is scheduled, finally! But, my GP said its probably going to be a negative result. ??? He doesnt think its SJS, or MS, but, rather just a process to rule things out while we figure out what it is I am suffering from. Real optimistic of him huh?
Well, ok, so, I dont know how long the results take to get back, but, for sure the procedure is today at 2.

Hope things go very well today, Cathy, and you get an answer soon. Isn't it tempting to wish for a positive result just so you can go back to the GP, wave it in his face, and say, "See, I told you I was sick!"

No, wouldnt say that, but, yea, I am praying for a positive result! I am so sick of limbo! LOL. My GP said yesterday that all the letters he gets from the numerous specialists say nothing is wrong, and he said he knows something is wrong and he is going to contact each and every one of the specialists when we diagnose me and tell them that they were wrong.
Oh, I cant wait! Not for spite, and not to say "told ya so", just for some closure! Geesh!
I myself though, am actually really starting to wonder if I am nuts and its all in my head.
Thanks ladies for the well wishes! Cant wait to come home with a big fat sore lip later on.

All went well. Geesh, they made a big deal of it. Outpatien OR and all, good drugs though. My lip is understandable sore, but, tolerable. Will get results in about a week.

I'm glad to hear that all went well! And you got drugs? All I got was the shot to deaden the nerves and an antibiotic for a few days. I'm jealous! ;) :D

Oh yea, oh my gosh, I got great drugs! I was so toasted, I had my son bustin up on the drive home. I was saying silly stuff and basically making no sense at all. Then, they gave me a whole bottle of Vicodin for the pain ............I didnt even have that much pain! (nor did I use the pills) Geesh, I've had so much done to me in the past two years it doesnt even really phase me. But yea, now , gotta wait til 5/27 for the results, which, if things go as they have been, they will be negative for SJS, and I will continue my quest for answers.
I will let you all know.
