Hi - I live in the North West of the Uk and we do have a special rheumy place at a hospital nearby, but don't think there is a specialist for Sjogrens there. Does anyone know of someone in the UK? I don't mind travelling and doctor has said she will refer me wherever I like.
Hi jaygee
There are a few Sjoggies in NW England and I'm sure they'll be in touch soon. Some people have found specialists in London, including Lupus/SjS centres of excellence and research. Look through old posts and you'll find names and numbers. The British SjS Association has quite a few medics involved in conferences: Dr Elizabeth Price and Dr Bowman come to mind. I'd recommend my rheumy in Brighton but that's probably a bit too far for you to travel!
Take care - Chickpea
