Title: Links worth looking into -
Post by: Issey on May 03, 2009, 04:20:38 PM
I was looking for something else when I came across this - its worth a read and could affect us all? I for one will be cytting it out (well dont drink diet coke anyway) but will be double checking all labels.
I have also started to cut out yeast - wheat does not seem a major problem but yeast does for some reason.

I no longer use artificial sweeteners.  I'm even pretty much off of sugar.  I do use Stevia and agave syrup though.

wow thank you for the information,  Jenna always drank diet soda we thought it was better for her not any more.  Do you know any more about it cousing conditions such as sjs or autoimmune disorders would be interested in knowing.    Thank you I printed out both links.    Hugs and Kisses    Jonnell and Jenna

Hi Jonnell
there are a couple of good links attached to the first link - it makes scary reading - I never drink diet coke - but my oldest daughter does - cans of it:( So I was trying to put her off and thats how I came across it:) SO GLAD I did - as she read it and was horrified:)) My concern is how much other food its in:( Will def take my glasses and read all the packets from now on - heck this could be contributing to half our symptoms????

Thank you for finding this link, my partner uses sweetners all the time, and about 7 each cup of tea. I am frightened for him, he has been slurring words, not being able to sleep, unable to say what he wants sometimes - which has progressively got worse.

Worse still i found aspartame in the soft drinks i have been giving my grandson who is 3 years old. I will be changing the products, i am not taking the chance of ignoring the info given.

Take care all

thanaks for this, why im getting into stevia instead, very safe and all natural.never heard of it hear found it on candida sites, as other sweetners still feed it, managed to find stevia on a health food site online, apparently freely avilable in the US but not here sadly, but i ll be going onto that to bake

was reading an intresting site other week , ppl trying to sue due to poisoning from their denture  adhesive , apparently way too high levels of zinc in some of the adhesives, and causing illness in many users, shocking really
