Title: picutres of our new little guy
Post by: Lacey1981 on April 19, 2009, 07:57:59 AM
Finally getting around to putting up some pics of Simon. We're all doing well. Big brother Robbie is feeling a bit jealous especially at feeding time he always wants mommy to put him to bed and come play. I suppose he'll adjust soon enough he's had so many changes lately poor guy.  Hopefully I did this right and you all can see the pics. Enjoy!

He's gorgeous Lacey!  Hope you are feeling ok and getting the odd moment to yourself too.  I had 3 boys, then 2 girls;  there were always squabbles when they were little but nowadays the 3 lads head off to the pub together and play rugby for the same team.  You have loads of fantastic memories to make - best wishes to you all and thankyou for sharing your lovely photos, xx Ailsa

He is just beautiful Lacey!  Thanks for posting. I love the one of him with his eyes open, pursing his lips! You could run a caption competition for that one!
Well done you - and like I said before - he's big from prem!!

Hope you're feeling OK yourself.

Take care - Scottie  :)

Oh Lacey! Thanks so much for posting the pics of your family.....Simon is so cute and I'm sure as the others have said....his brother and him will grow up just fine together minus some very normal sibling rivalry.  ;)

I'm glad you are doing well...congrats again to your whole family! Sending lots of little hugs to Simon and Robbie!

Gorgeous bitty boy and big brother!

You take me back to my babies too!  A pair of boys 2 years apart....they are exactly like the ones mentioned above!  Either competing fiercely or at the pub together!

I'll never forget the time I found a "secret box" under my 10 year old son's bed.  In it was a piece of paper that read, "List of People I Hate: My brother."

I'd give anything to have the box today!  They lived together during college and are each other's strongest advocate now days!

Love and blessings to you, pretty girl!

He is a such a cutie!  Lucky you and your family!!!  He's going to be a show stopper when he grows up! ;D  Give him and his big brother a big hug for me!

Let's not even mention that you look good for having just had a baby, wow, how did you do it?

Congratulations and mazal tov, Lacey!

He's the sweetest little thing - I love the dimples in his elbows.  My first two are boys with two years between them (then I have a 4 year gap before my daughter came along) and they are really good buddies now.  But feeding time was always a favourite moment for the eldest to need something, just when I was busy with baby brother.  It's a sure way of getting your complete attention!  It will pass, as all the difficult times do.

I hope you're getting some rest.  This is one of the most exhausting times of your life so accept every offer of help that comes your way.

Thinking of you - Chickpea

Lacey,
You are a beautiful family!   Congratulations!  I hope everyone adjusts quickly, especially Robbie.   Try to rest when the boys do.  Those first several weeks are hard, and it's easy to overdo.  Best wishes!

Lacey, Thank you for sharing.  What a day boost.  Love the pic of your three men.  The last pic is a hoot.  Scottietottie is right, great pic for a caption.  Two of mine are 19 months apart and could not have been more different.  Were in high school together and others could not believe that they were brothers even though we were the only ones in the county with this last name.  Good luck.  Enjoy the boys while they are little.  As the song goes "Don't Blink" because before you know it they will be in school.  Roxanne

Lacey, you and your family are certainly a handsome bunch!  You are lucky to have 3 such handsome men in your life.
The chin dimple in the kids is so cute, but i looked at Mom and Dad and can't quite figure out where it came from.  Hiding under Dad's beard maybe?  Thanks for posting these pics.  Hope you are getting enough rest.  You look really good for just giving birth.  Lucy

eyeamdry the chin dimple actually comes from great-grandpa. neither my husband nor myself have a chin dimple. it was the 1st thing my grandma notice when she saw him she said oh he has his great-grandpa's chin!

Congratulations Lacey! You gotta be a tough lady to have Sjogrens and go through a pregnancy! Simon is soo-- handsome and congrats to Daddy and big bro-Robbie(he's a cutie too and looks so proud!). Take care of yourself and sneak those naps in while you can. You'd think with a 2 yr old and twin babies 7 yrs ago I would've been wooped, but for some odd reason I had super energy and a "mom high" for almost 2 months. The body is a wierd thing. Maybe you will go through a super feel good stage, that would be nice huh? Congrats again to you all!!-Net

Lacey-

Both of your boys are adorable!  Congratulations.

My boys are 3 years apart.  When I had my second (now 20), his older brother had just finished being potty trained.  Don't you know that every time I would sit down to nurse the little one, his older brother would have a load in his pants?!?  I finally gave up and went back to diapers til we got past the initial jealousy stage.  Of course, that was just the beginning.  Even today, at 20 and 23, they're either the best of friends or the worst of enemies.

Enjoy your little one,
Tracy
