I just wanted to come in and say Hi to everyone. I had to take a little break.. I became so overwhelmed with my medical issues that I needed to step back away from everything and get my act together I was feeling very fatigued with terrible muscle pain, as it turned out the statin I take for cholesterol was causing all of the trouble, luckily both the cardiologist and my GP were on the ball and ordered bloodwork.. my liver enzymes were abnormal and urine very dark ... apparently I was on the verge of liver damage.. I came off of the Crestor and felt great within a week, but doctors tell me I 'must' be on something to get my lipids out of the danger zone.. so right now we are experimenting with smaller doses and careful monitoring, (I was on the highest dose) .. My Raynauds was out of control so they added yet another calcium channel blocker, which left me with dangerously low BP's, after two calls to 911 with blood pressures of 65/40... we stopped it.. I'm doing well now, and have been very successful with my cardiac rehab, have lost 20 lbs and can tolerate a robust workout on the treadmill and elliptical.. zoom....... So things are looking up... Hope all is well with all of you....

Wow...you have had your share of medical issues for the next 10+ years.....no wonder you needed to step back from it all and take a little break! You have been through the wringer!
I am glad that your docs have been on the ball and are listening and working with you...good news to hear that you are finally feeling better and things are getting back in control!

Wow, SeaBreeze! I too am glad that you're doing better!!!! Two 911 calls? You must have been so scared! But I'm so glad that you're back and look forward to chatting with you soon!
