EPSON!!!
You folks are all too kind, why don't I find people like you outside the blogosphere, the world would be a much better place.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't wonder how someone from this site is doing, whether it is an illness or a loss of employment and the cost of medication.
I guess the one thing I have learned about being sick is, Don't dwell on what has past away or what is yet to be. I stoled that from a Leo Cohen song, but it really is sound advise.
The risks from the chemo is minimal, mostly pain and very frequent and painful urination, I have been dealing with that since October, so that won't something I haven't already experienced.
I really just want to get this whole thing over with as soon as possible and I feel fortunate that I have a cheer leading section in the blogoshere.
Epson
Give us an E and P and an S and a O and an N ........ EPSON!!!!!!!!

JJ
I'm definitely praying for you too. Your posts make me laugh, and they make me cringe in pain. I prefer the ones that make me laugh, so I'm rooting for you :)
Epson,
You are very important to all of us. I am praying and thinking positive on your behalf.
kimbo
Hi Epson, all my bestest wishes are with you right now.. No-one deserves more than you to get through this nightmare, and we are right there with you.
God be with you,, sincerely, Dolly.
Hi Epson
That's such a great attitude, even if you had to sit through hours of miserable Leonard Cohen songs to find it. Don't OD on his music while you're having treatment.
Good to hear that you're being so positive about the chemo - you've been through so much these past few months that the side effects sound horribly familiar. But that also means that you'll know how to deal with them.
Are we a different lot of people out here in the blogosphere? Or especially on this site? Or maybe the anonymity means we're not embarrassed about showing our feelings? Maybe it's a stereotype of the 'reserved English' or the 'unemotional Brit' but on this side of the Atlantic we don't usually get as mushy as this! And here I'm even including our Scottish lass Wed McH.
Thinking of you
ps sorry about slandering you on the post about wearing warm scarves in bed ...
Yes, Epson will be sincerely praying for you. Can't imagine what you are going through.
Lotus1

KIMBO ;D
Kimbo,
You must have been a cheerleader when you were in school ;D Now come up with a cheer for my stent removal!
Epson, I was not in fact, I was kicked out of pep club, which was a requirement to try out for cheer leading. I was mischievous. :o
The Stent removal-
Back it out. Back it out. Back it way out. Stomp on it, drive over it, put it in the garbage disposal, put it thru the shredder. Imagine throwing it out into the grand cannon.
Blessings all over Epson
kimbo

Pud,
I don't need that image in my brain, I have enough with the cheese grater and coat hanger etched in my mind.
Sending sunshine and grins along with a backflip to Epson in Ohio.........from Lucy temporarily in Fla. Epson, I get jealous when I think of you living in the city of the "Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame." How cool can it get? Been there once. Lucy
Epson, my fine toothed friend,
I sure hope that you start feeling better soon!
Hang in there, and take care of yourself, okay?
