I went undiagnosed for about 5 years, so I have now experienced damage to my corneas and Have had a lot of trouble with my mouth and teeth. I also have fibromyalgia and am being treated for that. I have a lot of the other Sjogren's symptoms, but sometimes when I feel the worst, the blood tests come back normal except for the ANA factors. So I am very frustrated. Does anyone else experience this? I think that is why I went undiagnosed for so long. I have intestinal symptoms, lung and bronchial tube problems. I feel a lot like I have a cold, but not, if you know what I mean. I do have a super Rheumatologist.
Hi Smac, I think you have probably been just like the majority of us here, back & forward to Docs, tests that show nothing untoward, weird symptons that can't be explained, etc'
I have had problems for quite a number of years now ,and am really no further on. I just take the tablets and carry on as best I can.
To tell the truth tho' there are really a lot worse cases here than I am, so I count myself lucky . This is truly Sjogrens and all that goes with it. They are getting to know more and more about this beast ....but soooo slowly!
You really are lucky to have a good Rheumatologist, so hang in there. We are right along side too if you need us..
hugs and best wishes. Dollyx
Hi SMac,
Sounds familiar. I am glad you have a good Rheum. dr. but its a very long process from what others have said, and from what I am finding out. So many problems, and perfect bloodwork. I also know that many here are much more pain than I am, so I am thankful. One step, one day at a time. Take care.

Been there. I have been sick for over 15 years; even had a bone marrow biopsy, and every thing came back neg. Finely was told I had fibro because "there isn't anything wrong with you." My Doc started me on Methotrexate a few months ago because I dared him to tell me I did not have sjogrens. I have plugs in both eyes because of dry eyes, I have asthma, difficulty swallowing, paralyzed vocal cords, severe dry mouth, neuropathy both legs, digestion problems, etc.
I am glad you have a good rheumy, that is half the battle.
