Well, I got my blood test faxed to me today. Here is what they say
ANA SSA is positive
ANA Titer is 1:1280
ANA Choice (TM ) Screen Positive I don't know what this one is for? Have you ever heard of it?
DNA (DS) Antibody Normal
Anti-Streptolysin 210 Normal is 200 or below so this is also a little high
SCL-70 Antibody Neg
Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody Negative
Rheumatoid Factor 11 normal is 0 to 14
Sjogren's Antibody SSA 8.0 positive Normal reading is anything below a 1
Sjogren's Antibody SSB 1.5 Positive Normal reading is anything below a 1
WBC has went up and down from 3.9 down to 2.1 and then back up to a 3.4
My symptoms all started with gastro type chest pain and I was put on celebrex which took care of the chest pain. After a couple of days taking the celebrex is when all of the gastro problems came on and I have had then on and off for about 6 months. I have had some infliammation of my stomach line and have also experienced nerve problems and brain fog that comes and goes. Just in the past few weeks, I have felt like I get really sleepy and when I do, my eyes feel as if they are burning. I understand that none of you are medical experts, but I have not met any doctors that want to take me serious and understand the symptoms that I am having. They just kind of scratch there head. I know this stuff is not easy to diagnose, but I feel like they just give up. Thanks for your help.
Def sounds like Sjogren's, or another another autoimmune....I would say if you have dry eyes and mouth..Sjogren's for sure.
Hi :)
I'm not the best blood test reader in the world but I agree with gurs. Looking at those bloods I would say that with the SSA and SSB both postive, SjS looks most likely. With DNA(DS) normal - it doesn't look like lupus. It doesn't look like you have autoimmune thyroid disease.
Having said that - i am not medical and I would suggest talking the tests through with your doctor and getting them to explain them to you.
Having got the results - what's the treatment plan? :)
Take care - Scottie :)
G'day plunk656, I agree with Scottie. It could be SjS. But you need to let your treating Phycian interpret the test results.

I agree as well! The blood tests sure sound like something autoimmune is going on, but you need to meet with your doctor. I would give the office a call and make an appointment or at least ask to speak to the Doctor directly.
Btw...what type of doctor was this that ordered the labs? If it wasn't a rheumy...they will probably refer you to one soon to discuss your current and past symptoms and what the plan should be to treat these symptoms.
Good luck to you and let us know how you are doing!
