Title: sweating Ice Cubes
Post by: BonusMom on December 09, 2008, 05:21:47 PM
My hands, feet and nose all feel cold to touch, yet I'm perspiring.  It's like a clammy feeling.. This happens frequently.  I am not taking any meds for SjS.  Any ideas?

My feet are like frozen blocks of clammy ice all the time.

I think it's Raynauds related.

Same weirdness here.  Hands and feet usually cold.  Sweatshirt over t-shirt comes on and off as needed.  It's Michigan and cold here.....so the house is chilly at times as we try to conserve on heating bills.  I still keep it at 70 and sometimes that's freezing. Other times it's hot.  Lucy

Yep, same here.  Then when I get warm I feel like I've been scalded.  We can't win with this disease.  I don't even try anymore.  Ewwwwww!!!

I do the same thing BounsMon, and I tend to agree with Janna, I haven't been dxd yet, but I see Rheumy on Thursday, he may have to cancel my Orencia treatment and I'm so frustrated about that!

Yep I have been saying for years that my thermostat is broken.  The neuro says it could be related to the autonomic neuropathy.  I hate when the feet get bone cold and nothing seems to warm them up!  I get no sleep when they feel like that.

Agreed Salsen - think I need a central heating engineer too as my thermos wonky as well ... boy if only it was so easy!!!  When I find one, I'll send him round to you as well.
