Hello everyone. I hope you are all well. I need input please. I'm dry everywhere. Lotion
doesn't even help any more. My skin and the corners of my mouth are cracking. It's
quite attractive I must say, not to mention painful, but who of us here aren't accustomed
to pain. I'm also experiencing severe vaginal dryness. What have some of the
more experienced sjogies found that helps.....

I am sorry you are having such a difficult time with the dryness. My doc has me using hydrocortisone lotion, it seems to help with the dryness and helped with the itchy skin as well. My lips are dry also, i have not tried it, but I heard bees wax works will for chapped lips. Also, Try baby oil in the bath water.

Oh, I know how you feel. I am using Lypsyl for my lips. My were cracked at the corners especially. It is the best thing I have found. For my skin, I am using Cetaphil lotion, cream, and face wash. I buy them all at Walgreen's. My Dr. recommended it and it does help. Also use humidifiers for moisture in your house.
Just a note: My husband is so funny, he knows how much this dryness is getting to me, so he bought me a moisture basket. He put lotion, eye drops, lemon drops, Lypsyl, perfume, and a rose in it. How sweet!
I agree on what has been said, the only thing I can add is about the Vaginal dryness. There is a lubercant cream you can take to help you with that, I dont think you have to see your OBGYN, but if you are more comfortable talking about this issue with her/him then go to them. Just explain the issue. I can not remember the name it has a number in it. Good luck, so sorry for ur pain!

For vaginal dryness, we use JO Premium silicone lubricant. Um, you can use this for a lot of things. You can get it at any "fun" store or online.
Hi
I use Replens and topical oestrogen for the vaginal dryness. I also use E45 misxed with water to wash sensitive areas. It does work.

When I feel really dry I use an salt or a sugar scrub which is in oil before getting into the bath. I find this really helps slough off all the dry cells and then the warm water helps the oil soak right through into my skin. It's worth a try. Same with my face, a good exfoliate then the thickest gloopiest face cream I can find! I think my legs are morphing into 2 snakes lol.
