Title: Bit ouchy
Post by: Mark54 on November 17, 2008, 09:32:56 AM
Hi everyone,
Chele is okay, it is me who is down. A week ago Thursday I tore my bicep tendon on my right arm.
last Tuesday I had surgery to reattach the tendon. The doctor had to drill holes in my  forearm and then stitch the tendon to the bone. Needless to say I have been out of it for a while.

Chele has been great! Even know she isn't feeling the best she has  taken me to the hospital and all of my office visits. God has blessed her to be up when I have been down.

I did this at work so I am on workmans comp. This in it's self is a battle to get paid. I will most likely be off of work for some time. I can't work my second job as well. God has always provide for us one way or another. Well... time for me pain meds! Thought you might like a update into our lives.

God's blessings,

Mark....

Ouchie!!!

Sorry to hear about this Mark, but it may be the only way you'd get some rest, and I'm betting you've already seen the blessing in it.

Now you and Chele can take care of each other, and spend some deserved and earned time together.

Hi Mark,
Say hi to Chelle for me.

Yikes, that sounds really painful.  Take care and rest while you can.  Let Chelle take care of you for a change.  I'm sure she is up to it, if she takes it slow and easy.  At least you two will time together.

Take care and let us know how you are doing.

Hugs and God Bless,
Pooh

Ow Mark! That does sound sore. I know my hubby tore a muscle in his back once and was just in an unbelievable amount of pain. His colleagues thought he was having a heart attack. He couldn't sleep for about 10 days.

I hope you're healing well. You and Chele are a good partnership!

Take care - Scottie  :)

Mark,

Wow, that hurts just hearing about it.  Take it slow and easy for a while.  It is wonderful that Chele is able to help you and visa versa!

Hi Mark,
That sounds like a painful thing you have going on there.  I'm so glad Chele is able to take care of you while things are not going too well.  It's always helpful to have a partnership when things go wrong.  Quick healing to you and may your Workers Comp come through quickly.  Lucy

Mark, Gosh, am I ever sorry to hear about your arm. What a painful thing to go through. I am so glad that Chele has been able to up and about in order to help you at this time. It seems that is what happens at our house many times.  The tough times are when both spouses are down at the same time.

God will provide for you cause he always does---not always the way we expect it to. Bet your friends have been good to you also. Take care now. Irish ;D

You are right, there is always a silver lining.

Hopefully you will heal quickly and be able to get back to work soon. I'm sure that Chele is happy to be able to help you after all that you have done to support her. That is medicine for the heart, for sure.

Best wishes and prayers for you both. Knowing there are people like you in the world makes it a better place for all of us.

Genko

Owwwww - I'm wincing thinking about it - hope you're soon feeling better Mark and your money comes through real quick.  I bet Chele's loving being able to look after you for a change as she's doing OK at the mo.  Enjoy your time together.  I just love how you look for the positive.
