My blood work was negative 6 months ago, Today I'm attending new exams that I have made few days ago. Last year my doctor said me that It was all ok but I didn't believe him ...I have too problems!!!!
I'm afraid that my life will be orrible and worsen more and more.
Is it possible to live and to work with this disease?
To live and to work, to have a normal life as all.....
Sorry for my English
How is my English? Is it terrible?

Howdy Soleluna, it is quite possible for you to have SjS, even though you blood tests are negative. Sjogren's is a very sneaky disease. It affects each person differently and to varying degrees. You will find you will have your good days and your bad days. I have had SjS for many years. I still live a full life and work. It's hard sometimes. There are time I want to quit. What helps me besides my Faith in God, is the support I get here at Sjogren's world. You will find you are in a wonderful family. We will laugh, cry, shout, vent with you.
I do have some suggestions for your Eyes. 1. Enlarge the font size on your screen. A larger font will ease the strain on your eyes. 2. Try using a filter over your screen. Using a filter will soften light coming off your screen. Many people with Sjogren's are photo sensitive. Filtering the harsh light coming from your computer screen will help your eyes. Also if you are working under the standard white florescent lighting, see if your employer will change the light bulbs to a softer florescent light. 3. Start taking fish oil capsels. Omega 3's can help dry eyes.
Your English is just fine. I hope you will start feeling better soon.

Soleluna, your English is fine, and we all understand not only the language, but the feelings in your messages.
Seekers hints about easing eye strain when you must be in front of a computer screen for long periods, are very helpful. I can only add a few things; take frequent breaks, even just looking away and focusing on something at a distance for a minute helps; occasionally soothe your eyes by holding a warm damp wash cloth over them, just for a few minutes; BLINK...it sounds like it should be automatic, but we tend to forget to blink when focused on the screen.
I hope your upcoming doctor's visit is helpful...one important thing you could ask is if he would be willing to treat your symptoms without positive blood tests, because they are severely limiting your quality of life.
Hello Soleluna :)
Welcome to Sogren's world.
As others have said it is possible to have SjS even if the bloodwork does not show this. It is important to try to get the symptoms dealt with. There are medications which can help.
You can live with Sjogren's. It does not get worse for everybody. It gets worse for a few. Everyone is different and it does not affect everyone the same way.
I have SjS and have brought up kids, trained for a new job and am in work.
I hope you find this site useful. Your English is just fine!
Take care - Scottie :)
