Title: heaviness
Post by: downrabbithole on August 21, 2008, 11:43:02 AM
Right now I feel so heavy. My entire body feels like its weighted down. I called my mom and she said it sounded like I was drunk. Not sure what to do...has anyone else felt like this before?

Are you taking any new meds?  If it continues please call your doctor and let them know of this latest problem.  It could be nothing, and then again it may be something he would want to see you in office about.

Hi downtherabbithole,

Yep, I'll second what Pooh said!  Please do contact your doctor if it continues to be a problem for you.

Take care -

Are you taking Prednisone. If you take 15mg of Prednisone a day, it can give you that feeling. Hard to stand and walk. But I also agree that you should let your Dr know about it.

rabitt, (can i call you that?)
I have been feeling like that since i started on the prednisone a few days ago. im on 25mg and my arms especially feel very heavy. Apparently this is a side effect.
Or are you taking some heavy duty pain killers, they sometimes do it too.

if not defiantely call the doc. as has been said before maight be nothing might need further looking into.

Take it easy

I think sometimes extreme fatigue makes one feel this way
