When I was in Phoenix for the national conference by the Sjogren's Syndrome foundation, I had an opportunity to talk with a zillion other Sjoggies, which was wonderful. We all agreed that networking with each other is vital on so many levels. I asked most of these people if they visit the sjogren'sworld forum, and to my surprise, not ONE replied that they had.
Over and over, I heard these women, and a few men, tell me that they feel isolated and under-informed about their disease.
So I started spreading the word about this forum.
How can we put the word out more?
BTW, I have posted several pictures from the conference on: http://reasonablywell-julia.blogspot.com/

Ann, on the first page of the general discussion section of this forum, the first post is a link to printable "business cards" for this forum. I've left them at doctor's offices, clinics and the ER, and I always carry a few on the off chance that I actually meet someone with SjS.
Your blog (which is delightful, by the way) is doing a great job at spreading the word, thanks for including a link to Sjogren's World.
Great idea about the business cards. I will print a stack of these immediately!
Thanks for the nice words about my blog. If anyone has any ideas as to how it can be improved, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
